A Mechanical Engineer and an ex-Army officer, having extensive technical and managerial experience at senior management levels. He has served as Managing Director (MD) of Telephone Industries of Pakistan, MD Carrier Telephone Industries Ltd. (CTI), both joint ventures with Siemens Germany, and has also served as Member (Technical) PTCL. He is an expert in Procurement and Project Management & dealings with international agencies. He has been trained in Sweden, Germany, and Japan and has experience dealing with loan giving agencies including World Bank, ADB, and KFW.
