Human Resource Development Assignment Included
  • Capacity building for Enhancement of quality of training in composite material manufacturing (fibers, plastic molds / dies).
  • TEACH as consultant completed the project for TEVTA for the establishment of Department namely “Capacity Building of TEVTA under “Enhancement of Quality in 12 Specialized Market Driven Trades/Trades/Technologies” Plan.

The project is already completed and approved by TEVTA. The detail of the tasks of the project as follows:

  1. Training Need Assessment (TNA) based on industrial seminar, focus group discussions, and industrial survey in Punjab.
  2. Development of Scheme of Studies for 3 years DAE, 2-year G-II Trade Certificate, and one-year Trade-III Trade Certificate courses.
  3. Development of Curriculum for 3 years DAE, 2-year G-II Trade Certificate, and one-year Trade-III Trade Certificate courses.
  4. A list of Laboratories and workshops include their machinery and test equipment needed for training, was identified.
  5. Design and Development of PC-I for the Project.
  6. Final Report.

The project also included the following tasks in addition to the above items:

  1. To develop strong industry-institutions linkage and harmonize the training with job market requirements.
  2. To conduct a comprehensive Training Need Assessment (TNA study), a questionnaire prepared and a survey of the industry was taken to ascertain their needs. Focus Group Discussions were also held.
  3. To develop the Curriculum and TLRs of specified demand-driven trade/technology in line with global advancement in technology in the selected areas.
  4. To prepare project Design/PC-I for the establishment of Technology Incubation Centre comprising Technical Training, In-house on the Job Training (OJT), Placement, Common Facility, and Technical Advisory Services along with an efficient Institutional Management System.
  5. The complete mechanism for service of equipment purchase and mechanism for regular Up-gradation of trade/technology.
  6. The mechanism for capacity building of faculty through local and foreign training.
